  • November 15, 2007 - The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit issued an opinion in Massasoit vs. Carter allowing the Firm’s client to have a jury trial on his claims of excessive force under the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Stewart Fisher and Carlos Mahoney represent the Firm’s client, who was shot by a deputy sheriff in Moore County, North Carolina.
