- Stewart W. Fisher was selected for the 2008 edition of The Best Lawyers in America and
for inclusion in Law & Politics’ North Carolina Super Lawyers - 2008 publication in the field
of employment and labor law. Mr. Fisher was also recognized in the Super Lawyers publication

- January 25, 2008 - Carlos E. Mahoney co-chaired a NCATL CLE seminar on disbursements in
personal injury claims.
- November 15, 2007 - The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit issued an opinion in
Massasoit vs. Carter allowing the Firm’s client to have a jury trial on his claims of excessive
force under the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Stewart Fisher and Carlos Mahoney
represent the Firm’s client, who was shot by a deputy sheriff in Moore County, North Carolina.
